Lee's Summit homes were built with room to grow — walkout basements, big lots, open floor plans waiting one remodel away.

Lee's Summit is half an hour from our shop, and it's where two of our favorite project types live: the unfinished walkout basement and the backyard that deserves a real deck.
The subdivisions that made Lee's Summit one of the metro's most livable cities were largely built from the 1990s on, and they share a signature: generous unfinished basements — many of them walkouts — and lots that back to trees, water, or green space. That combination is exactly what our basement and outdoor-living crews were built for.
We come to Lee's Summit the same way we work everywhere: Jesse and Dylan on the jobsite, a line-item proposal before we start, and a finish standard that doesn't care whether the house is ours to drive past every day. We're rarely the lowest bid in a market this size — we're the one you won't have to call back.
Newer Lee's Summit — the subdivisions around the lakes and along the parkways — is defined by space the builder left unfinished. Walkout basements want family rooms, wet bars, and guest suites with real egress; big flat backyards want composite decks and covered outdoor rooms that turn three seasons into four.
And then there's old Lee's Summit: the historic downtown core and its surrounding blocks, where early-1900s homes reward the careful trim-and-craft work that bigger remodel outfits don't slow down for. Both ends of town remodel well. They just remodel differently — and we bid them honestly, each on its own terms.
Yes — walkouts are the best basements to finish, and Lee's Summit has more of them than almost anywhere in the metro. The natural light and direct yard access mean the finished space lives like a main floor, and pairing the walkout with a deck above is one seamless indoor-outdoor project when it's planned by one crew.
In nearly all cases, yes — both deck construction and basement finishing in Lee's Summit require permits through the City of Lee's Summit, with inspections along the way. We handle that legwork as part of every project, and the schedule in your proposal already accounts for it.
By being small on purpose. We run a limited number of projects at a time so the owners — Jesse and Dylan — are personally on your jobsite, not managing it by phone from three suburbs away. You get one accountable crew from design through final walkthrough, and a proposal where every line is a real number.
"They came up with a much nicer design than I had originally asked for. The guys are hard working, personable and very easy to work with. Plus they stand behind their work."David D. — Google Review
