Home Remodeling in Kansas City

Kansas City is a hundred neighborhoods and a century of housing stock. We remodel across it — one owner-led project at a time.

Est. 2020 · Harrisonville, Missouri · Serving Kansas City

Our company name has KC in it for a reason: Kansas City proper has been part of our range since the beginning.

The city is too big for one playbook. A shirtwaist in midtown, a mid-century ranch in south KC, and a 1990s two-story in the Northland are three different remodels wearing the same zip-code prefix — different structures, different eras, different problems worth solving. We bid each house on what it actually is.

Two Kansas City neighborhoods get their own dedicated pages — Brookside and Waldo — because we work their pre-war housing stock so specifically. For the rest of the city, this page is the front door: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-home remodels, permitted through the City of Kansas City, Missouri and led on site by the owners.

The Homes of Kansas City

South of the river, Kansas City's pre-war neighborhoods — shirtwaists, bungalows, Tudors, and colonials from the 1900s through the 1940s — reward remodelers who respect what they're working in: plaster, site-milled trim, and framing that predates modern code. That's the work our finish carpenters are built for, and it's why Brookside and Waldo get their own pages.

The post-war city tells a different story: mid-century ranches across south KC, and the Northland's subdivisions from the 1980s onward, where the projects look more like the suburbs — unfinished basements, builder-grade kitchens, and baths ready for real tile. Same crew, same line-item proposal, different playbook.

Common Questions

Kansas City Remodeling FAQs

Which parts of Kansas City do you serve?

All of Kansas City proper is in range, from the pre-war neighborhoods south of the river through the Northland. We work most often in the southern half of the city — Brookside and Waldo have their own dedicated pages — because it's closest to our Harrisonville shop, but we schedule projects across the city.

Do you handle City of Kansas City permits?

Yes. Remodeling permits in the city run through the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and we handle the permitting legwork and inspections as part of every project — it's built into the proposal, not an extra.

Are you set up for both old and new KC houses?

That range is exactly what our week looks like. Pre-war houses need carpenters comfortable with plaster, old framing, and trim worth matching; newer houses need clean layouts and finishes done right the first time. We bid each project on the house in front of us, and we'll tell you honestly what yours needs.

"Hired these guys to do some remodeling work on my kitchen. Fast and friendly. Would highly recommend!"
