Whole-Home Remodeling in Kansas City

One design, one crew, one accountable team — renovations that carry a single vision through every room of the house.

Est. 2020 · Harrisonville, Missouri · Serving the Kansas City Metro

A house remodeled one disconnected project at a time ends up looking like it. A whole-home remodel gets you the opposite: one design language, carried through every room by the same hands.

JD Build coordinates the entire project design-build — kitchens, bathrooms, staircases, flooring, trim, and paint planned as one scope and executed by one crew. That's how a shiplap detail in the entry echoes in the primary bath, how the stair rail matches the mood of the kitchen hardware, and how you avoid the contractor-juggling that turns renovations into a second job.

From our home base in Harrisonville, we take on whole-home and multi-room remodels across Cass County and the Kansas City metro — Belton, Raymore, Lee's Summit, Grandview, and beyond. Jesse and Dylan lead every jobsite personally, so the standard you were promised in the proposal is the standard that shows up in your house.

What Does a Whole-Home Remodel Cost?

Whole-home pricing is really the sum of its rooms — and the planning that makes them work together.

The number depends on how many rooms, how deep each one goes, and the materials you choose. After your free consultation you'll get a detailed, phased, line-item proposal — no vague allowances, no surprises.

We're rarely the lowest bid — we are the one you won't have to call back.

Common Questions

Whole-Home Remodeling FAQs

Can we stay in our home during a remodel?

In most cases, absolutely. We know that staying in your home during a renovation matters — especially for Kansas City families juggling work, school, and daily routines. For kitchen remodels, we'll help you set up a temporary kitchen space so you're not living off takeout the entire time. For bathroom projects, we coordinate the schedule so you always have access to at least one functioning bathroom. We'll walk through the logistics with you before work begins.

Who manages the project day to day?

The owners do. Jesse and Dylan are on the jobsite leading the crew — not checking in from an office across town. On a whole-home project that matters: one team carries the design decisions from room to room, and the person you talked to during planning is the person holding the level during the build.

What's your availability like?

Our schedule fills up fast, especially heading into Kansas City's peak building season in spring and summer. We typically book projects a few weeks out, so the sooner you reach out, the sooner we can get you on the calendar. Contact us to discuss your timeline and we'll give you an honest read on current availability.

"JD Build and Design recently installed bamboo hardwood floors throughout our house. They turned out beautifully and their craftsmanship was evident from the beginning. Their communication, professionalism, and attitudes made the entire project an incredible experience."
