The ranches, Cape Cods, and colonials that fill Prairie Village were built mostly in the 1940s, '50s, and '60s — compact, well-proportioned houses with real character and floor plans from another era of family life. Small closed kitchens, narrow bathrooms, and low unfinished basements are original equipment here.
