JD Build was founded in 2020 by Jesse Laycock and Dylan Flanner. Together, they bring over 15 years of combined experience in carpentry and home remodeling — and have built a team that specializes in bringing their clients' visions to life through high-end detail, expert project management, and clear communication every step of the way.

Business Operations Coordinator
Emma makes sure every dollar is accounted for and that clients get the most out of their hard-earned money. She manages all administrative and financial operations, keeping the business running efficiently behind the scenes.
CEO & Licensed General Contractor
Dylan oversees the business from the top — ensuring valid permits are pulled, adequate insurance is in place, subcontractor teams are vetted, and every project is managed from start to finish. He believes that a well-run project starts with keeping clients informed, not in the dark.
